Tonight was our annual Bible character night for Awana! Sara spent the last week telling me she did not want to dress up as anyone and then decided at about 5pm today that she would like to join in on the fun! It took some scrambling and we decided to go with Mary and she carried baby Jesus. She looked adorable and was very excited about her costume! She seemed to have the most fun tonight at this year's Awana, she has had a hard time moving up and going from the Cubbies to the Sparks class because it is geared at a more mature level.. not that she isn't mature or acting her age but the Cubbies have tons of fun! (I would know, I am a leader. :P) I was shocked to see her still struggling even though this is her 2nd year.. I am relieved to see she had a really fun night tonight!
