We met with a local group of Christian Homeschoolers to do a field trip at Brace's Apple Orchard. This was our 2nd time visiting Brace's and we enjoyed this visit much more than our first. We had a tour of the facility and store, ate a yummy cider doughnut and had some fresh apple cider and then we took a ride up to the orchards to pick our own apples, fresh from the tree!! Let me tell you, it is wonderful to be able to take Holden places that he can join in the fun, he was able to drink the cider with all the other kiddos and pick and eat his own apple. Thank goodness apples do not fall into his plethora of food allergies. :)
Being able to spend time like this with my children is a true blessing I will always cherish, it is not always easy but it is 110% worth all the work.
